Personally qualified, personally responsible and independent
In accordance with the laws applicable for self-employed persons, my services are provided on my own responsibility and independently based on my personal qualifications. Under the same laws, I am bound only by the interests of my clients, the rules of the professional associations which I belong to and by my duty to preserve the public welfare.
I am a member of the Bavarian Chamber of Engineers - Civil and I am registered as an engineer with full authority to file building permit applications under the Bavarian Building Code and the Chamber of Engineers Act.
In Great Britain, I am a member of the Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE, London) and I am registered with the British Engineering Council as a Chartered Engineer (CEng MICE).
I provide services from my offices in Munich and Bonn and at construction sites in Germany and abroad.
- self-employed since 2002: worked on projects in Germany, France and the Middle East;
- worked for many years as an employee of a well-known German construction company in turnkey construction and engineering;
- worked as an employee in various areas of the construction engineering sector (research/public service, consulting, construction);
- earned a degree in engineering from Armed Forces University Munich (UniBwM) with a dissertation on management systems for street maintenance and profitability studies;
- dissertation in mechanical engineering (LCPC/CNRS) with the French engineering college ENPC, Paris (École Nationale des Ponts et Chaussées, Grande École);
- studied construction engineering at the Technical University of Munich (TUM), graduated 1990 with a degree in engineering.
